Awful experience here

SCAM ALERT!!! Seller clerk lied about 6 months warranty and return policy. I bought this $10 nailer along with a mini air compressor and asked the clerk to give me a deal and able to get it tax-free with the 6 months warranty, and also asked if i am allow to return this item to the 17 ave location and they says yes. They also says everything I buy in Cash Canada will be on my account so I don't need a receipt because it in their system. 1 month later (May 30, 2024). I went to the 17 ave location to return it due to their hassle-free return policy that I purchased when I bought this item, the clerk there told me it not in the system. The clerk called her team leader to check on it and did some research to find out my purchase infomation (receipt) is not in my account. They called their area manager "Sam" they says, and told me, they can give me a $10 off on another nailer only, in which are all their nailers are overpriced and useless to me. They wouldn't refund me $10 or even put it into in store $10 credit for something else that I could have bought like DVD, bikes, TV, etc. And then, The 17 ave team leader told me this item is final sales, but I picked it from a shelve that did not label as final sales and also the price tags should have labeled final sales, the clerk at the south store should have told me it final sales, why did the clerk sold me an item with 6 months warranty and then put "final sales" to it, but can't find it in my system. It so fishy that these store tried to underhanded sell something broken, doesn't put it into the system correctly and blame the customers. The team leader then tried to educate me by telling me that price tags ending with .00 is final sales..how is the customers is suppose to know this? and that isn't the customers' job to learn the in and out of CCF....Isn't that the manager job to educate their employees to put final sales on the stickers? I used to work for CCF 12 years ago and we always had to label it correctly. The store has changed so much.....I hope this is an error to the Calgary locations only and not canada-wide.

Anastasia was amazing to deal with. This was my first time going to cash Canada or any Pawn shop in general and needed money asap, she was very understanding and explained everything to me. Will 100% return and will look into purchasing some items in the future!
